Planning Resolutions

Resolutions in general are tough to articulate and sometimes tougher to commit to. I read an article about the best philosophies around writing and keeping resolutions. The advice basically said 1) keep it simple 2) set a short time frame versus giving yourself all 12 months to accomplish the goal and 3) incorporate others. So, here I am drafting one of my professional career goals for 2016 publicly.
 
I want to provide my fellow Oracle Hyperion professionals with an avenue for learning and sharing the best of Planning. Over the next year I will host a series of webinars (striving for one each month) dedicated to Planning, including Planning on the Cloud (PBCS), Narrative reporting on the cloud (EPRCS), tips and tricks and best practices for Planning and Essbase. In order to achieve #3 – incorporate others – I would like to hear from you as to what topics you are interested in learning more about. Deanna Sunde

Deanna Sunde is an Oracle ACE and the Delivery Director for the West at Key Performance Ideas. Previously, she held management positions in accounting, finance and IT at NBC Universal and Princess Cruises. Deanna’s experience encompasses over 17 years with Hyperion and four years with Oracle Financials with industry focus in Oil and Gas, Energy, Insurance and Financial Services, Health Services and Entertainment. She holds an MBA in Finance, a BS in Economics and is a former Certified Public Accountant. Deanna is also a certified implementation specialist for Hyperion Planning and Essbase and is a leader in the Hyperion community and a frequent speaker at user group conferences and webcasts such as ODTUG Kscope, Collaborate, OAUG Connection Point and Oracle Open World.
